ADDENDUM TO SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION
The intent of Main Stage Entertainment, Inc. is to establish a non-alcoholic, cabaret style night
club featuring California's most beautiful showgirl entertainers. We will bring a high professional
standard of adult-cabaret found in other metropolitan centers to the San Joaquin County business
landscape.
Through our experience and research in other areas, we are aware of the developmental stages of
establishing adult cabaret entertainment in a new market. This knowledge and shared community concern
for public health, safety, and welfare will enable us to work with local law enforcement and county
officials to create a safe and prosperous business climate that operates under approved county ordinances
and legal statutes.
In other large cities throughout the United States, adult cabaret is an integral part of the business
community. This form of entertainment is highly patronized by corporate business professionals, blue
collar workers, and other citizens alike. Our collective experience and success from doing business in this
industry assures us that our club will meet the demand for this type of entertainment.
After extensive research of the central valley market, we decided to locate along the Highway 99
corridor. This will give patrons from Galt to Modesto, and throughout the county, easy access to the
club. Our vision for the proposed site on Waterloo Road perfectly meets Main Stage's business
objectives and criteria.
The building will be separated into two six thousand square foot areas. The project area will be
situated in the front half, utilizing an area of approximately thirty-eight hundred square feet as our
assembly room, leaving the remaining twenty-two hundred square feet for storage, office, and unused
space. The back six thousand square feet of the existing building will be separated by a firewall and not
used in the project (see site plan).
Throughout the interior of the club there will be intense theatrical lighting. Full length mirrors
and our unique interior design concepts will create a multidimensional effect. A combination of tables,
chairs and booths will be used to maintain a seating capacity for 150 to 180 patrons. Custom furniture
designs, risers, and props will be strategically placed throughout the club. Our showgirls will incorporate
these settings into their solo and group performances. A beverage service area is to be constructed,
offering a variety of non-alcoholic drinks for out patrons. The beverage service equipment to be used
consists of an ice maker, soda dispensers, glasswasher, and other such equipment. The club will also
carry different vending products (cigarettes, candies, potato chips). We will not sell or prepare food on
the premises.
Full time management will be handled by Main Stage solely. The club staff will vary some, based
on patronage of shifts and days of the week. The cabaret will contract six to ten showgirls per shift.
Initially we will bring in some of the most beautiful entertainers from the San Francisco area, Sacramento
County, and Southern California. We also look forward to contracting and training local talent. A
number of our showgirls have been featured in Playboy, Penthouse, and other publications. The club will
also feature top name entertainers who perform on the US and international cabaret circuit.
The night club will be staffed with the following personnel:
(1) Bartender
(1) Cocktail Waitress
(1) Disk Jockey/M.C.
(1) Doorman/ Security
(2) Security(Licensed personnel)
Maintaining a safe and controlled interior and exterior environment for our patrons and
neighboring community is one of our primary concerns. Main Stage has allocated substantial revenue to
employ licensed, and highly experienced security personnel. At all times the club and parking lot area will
be under tight surveillance. A metal detector will be used at the door to assure the safety of all patrons.
Since the club does not serve alcohol, but will feature live nude entertainment, all patrons eighteen
years of age and over are welcome. The cabaret will post appropriate signs of this fact and require valid
California identification from patrons.
The club will generate revenue through a cover charge that will be collected at the door, beverage
sales, and vending products. The showgirls will pay a cabaret rental fee for each contracted shift. Main
Stage will implement a professional business accounting system and internal control policies.
Main Stage Entertainment, Inc. will provide the highest quality, highest class of cabaret style
entertainment at all times, practicing a commitment to professionalism unsurpassed in the industry. We
look forward to opening and maintaining a long standing and prosperous business in San Joaquin County,
We are intent on establishing positive local business relationships, employing local residents, and always
supporting positive growth and development within the community.
