i. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor storage <br /> areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. At a minimum, a ten (10) foot wide <br /> planting strip is required along Waterloo Road. The strip shall be continuous except where <br /> crossed by driveways and walkways. (Development Title Section 9-1020.8) <br /> (2) The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%)of landscaping within the <br /> perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. A minimum of <br /> thirteen (13) trees shall be planted, evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. (One tree is <br /> required for every five(5) parking spaces.) (Development Title Section 9-1020.5) <br /> (3) A five(5)foot planting strip shall be installed adjacent to the solid masonry wall and the parking <br /> area. (Development Title Section 9-1020.5[e]) <br /> j. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be <br /> screened so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public rights-of-way. Screening <br /> shall be six (6)to seven (7)feet in height. (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[d]) <br /> (2) A solid masonry wall six (6) to seven (7) feet in height shall be erected along the abutting <br /> property line with the residences to the west, north, and east.
