The drill <br /> cuttings were stored adjacent to the u/g tank and covered <br /> with plastic sheeting. <br /> Subsequent to completion, the wellheads were surveyed to a <br /> common datum and groundwater levels monitored to determine <br /> the site specific groundwater gradient. Depth to <br /> F-= groundwater was measured in accordance with WaterWork's <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Protocol (Appendix III). The wellhead <br /> survey and groundwater monitoring data is presented in Table <br /> 3.2 Soil Sampling <br /> Grab iamples of cuttings wrre logged continuously during <br /> drilling for identification of stratigraphy and detection of <br /> hydrocarbon contamination. Field screening of volatile <br /> �., �?rganics emitted from the soils was conducted with a <br /> pftotoionization detector (PID) . The PID readings are <br /> plotted adjacent to the soils tested on the well log <br /> (Appendix 1).
