O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: Quarterly Monitoring Report, October through December 1992, Site Code 1102,
Smith's Canal Pump Plant, Fontana Street and Smith's Canal, Stockton,
California
fJ:
Dear Ms. Turkatte:
This letter report summarizes groundwater monitoring activities at the above referenced site
(Figure 1) during the fourth quarter of 1992. These activities included monitoring groundwater
levels in all site wells, collecting groundwater samples for laboratory analysis, and removing
floating product from monitoring well MW4.
FIELD WORK
On December 9, 1992, static fluid levels were measured in monitoring wells MW1, MW2,
MW3, and MW4. The water table has risen an average of 0.32 feet since the previous quarter.
Table 1 summarizes the water level data collected this quarter and provides previous data for
comparison.
Water level measurements collected during this quarter indicate groundwater flows northwest,
which is consistent with historical data. A groundwater gradient map was created using data
collected from the December 9, 1992 monitoring event (Figure 2). The figure, created using
QRTERLY%4QMR k 992.DRF
