This
property has also been referred to as the Stockton Event Center in a Draft Environmental
Impact Report that was reviewed and commented on by the Department of Toxic Substances
Control (DTSC). As identified in the DTSC approved Final Remedial Action Plan (RAP) dated
August 29, 2001, a Deed Restriction is required to prevent inappropriate land use activities due
to residual hazardous substances contained in the subsurface soils at the North Shore Property
located in Stockton, California.
A signed Deed Restriction must be recorded before DTSC can issue a certification of
completion letter for the Site. The enclosed Deed Restriction has been returned to you for
recording with the County Recorder's Office. After recording, two copies of the document must
be returned to DTSC at the address located on the letterhead.
