YI
CRYSTAL CREAMERY STOCKTON
-t. WKA No. 1628.10
January 8, 2003
.r
Page 3
elevations)for wells MW1, MW4, and MW5 are presented in Charts 1, 2, and 3,respectively.
Laboratory analytical reports and Chain-of-Custody documentation are included in Appendix B.
Conclusions
Groundwater in the vicinity of wells MW4 and MW5 continues to show impact from gasoline
and BTEX compounds, but analytical data from the third and fourth quarters of 2002 suggests
that ozone injection is having a favorable effect on groundwater at the site. Concentrations of
TPH as gasoline(and associated compounds)have historically shown seasonal peaks and
declines (see Charts 2 and 3), with the highest concentrations commonly occurring during the
third or fourth quarter. The third and fourth quarter(2002) analytical data for MW4 suggests
that TPH gasoline concentrations may have peaked at 13,000 µg/L. If that proves to be the case
•- (based on future monitoring results), it would be the lowest seasonal peak in MW4 in the past
eight years. TPH gasoline levels in MW5 have decreased during the past two quarters, with
fourth quarter(2002)results showing the lowest concentration since 1996. Groundwater
concentrations of TPH as gasoline in well MW 1 have attenuated to non-detectable levels during
-✓ the third and fourth quarters of 2002 (see Chart 1). Down gradient wells MW7 and MW8
NEW
continue to be clear of detectable gasoline, BTEX, and fuel oxygenate concentrations.
.r
Limitations
The statements and conclusions in this report are based upon the scope of work described above
and on observations made on the date of our fieldwork as presented above. Our work was
performed using a degree of skill consistent with that of competent environmental consulting
firms performing similar work in the area. No recommendation is made as to the suitability of
the property for any purpose. The result of our investigation does not preclude the possibility
that materials currently, or in the future, defined as hazardous are present on the property. This
report is applicable only to the investigated property and should not be used for any other
property. No warranty is expressed or implied.
r
V
WALLACE-KUHL
£r ASSOCIATES INC.
