WALLACE • KUHL December 10, 1997 ' <br /> ErAssoams INC. <br /> Mr Steve Jerkins <br /> Crystal Creamery <br /> 1013 D Street <br /> Sacramento, California 95814 <br /> QUARTERLY STATUS REPORT <br /> 404 WEST FREMONT STREET <br /> i Stockton, California <br /> WKA No 1628 08 <br /> Dear Mr Jerkins, <br /> As required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, we are submitting <br /> this quarterly status report for the subject property located at 404 West Fremont <br /> Street in Stockton, California (Plate 1) <br /> Most recent ground water elevation measurements of the six on-site morutonng <br /> wells (MW 1 through MW6 and city of Stockton Well SMW2) were obtained on <br /> July 15, 1997 and October 29, 1997 Based on these most recent ground water <br /> elevation measurements, ground water ranges between approximately 17 and 18 <br /> feet below grade (Table 1) The flaw direction beneath the site was calculated to <br /> be to the northeast with a variable gradient Groundwater contours for July and <br /> October of 1997 are presented on Plates two and three respectively <br /> 6eniichritcal Lngineeiing Prior to sampling, the depth to groundwater was measured in each well using a <br /> Solist electronic water level indicator The depth to groundwater measurements <br /> Enguucring Gcnlopy were used to calculate the volume of water in each well Once calculated, <br /> approximately three well volumes of water were purged from each well using a <br /> En%trontnanttlCOnsuktng two-inch submersible pump until temperature, pH, and conductivity readings <br /> stabilized and/or the water cleared of sediment The water samples were then <br /> Run(Ajrion Ser%tce� collected through the sampling pump Sample water pumped from the well was <br /> poured into appropriate sample containers provided by the laboratory <br /> Cun+tn:ctton Inspection <br /> The samples were immediately placed in an ice-chest with ice and submitted under <br /> IM ttrn�i,TestingThe <br /> to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline using EPA test method 90I S modified, Benzene, <br /> Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Total Xylenes(BTEX) and Methyl-tertiary-Butyl Ether <br /> (MtBE) using EPA test method 8020/602 the October samples were additionally <br /> -� -- -30501n0u.rrtal Blvd analyzed for oxygenated compounds using EPA test method 8260 at the request of <br /> ` Steve Sasson from San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Wesr Sacr tmcntu <br /> C.A 95691 The submersible pump was cleaned with a solution of Liqui-nox and water prior to <br /> 916 372 1434 purging each well to minimize the potential for cross-contamination In addition, <br /> Fix 916 372 2565 <br /> R ,,.Upapr <br />
