CRYSTAL CREAMERY - STOCKTON <br /> WKA No 1628 05 <br /> • August 2, 1995 <br /> Page 2 <br /> samples will be screened in the field using a photoionizatton detector and selected samples <br /> submitted to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of TPH as gasoline, using Modified <br /> EPA method 8015, and Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes (BTEX), using EPA <br /> method 8020 The materials encountered during drilling will be logged by an experienced field <br /> geologist and all work will be performed under the direct supervision of a California-registered <br /> geologist A soil boring/monitoring well permit will be obtained from San Joaquin County, and <br /> revocable/encroachment permits will be obtained from the City of Stockton prior to start of <br /> drilling <br /> Ground water quality will be evaluated by obtaining a water sample from the new monitoring <br /> well We also will collect water samples from the seven existing onsite and offsite monitoring <br /> wells (MWI through MW6 and SMW2) at the same time as part of our quarterly sampling <br /> Water samples will be analyzed for TPH as gasoline using EPA modified method 8015, and <br /> BTEX using EPA test method 602 A travel blank prepared by the analytical laboratory will be <br /> • analyzed for any volatile compounds detected A description of field sampling procedures is <br /> contained in the Appendix <br /> Reporting <br /> All reports will follow the recommendations outlined in the Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluations and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites, <br /> August 30, 1991 Subsequent to field Investigation, the data generated will be evaluated and, if <br /> the extent of ground water and soil contamination are established, a Problem Assessment Report <br /> will be prepared that will include <br /> • a site plan showing locations of field tests <br /> • logs of soil borings and monitoring wells <br /> • laboratory test results with chain-of-custody documents - �- <br /> • a site plan showing the lateral and vertical extent of contamination <br /> • a summary of findings indicating extent of soil and ground water contamination <br /> i <br /> A brief addendum workplan will be provided for any additional work to be completed at this site <br /> WALLACE KUHL <br /> Recvcledpaper Er ASSOCIATES INC <br />
