III . PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE
Both parcels are presently used for livestock grazing. The
previous owner had also used the property for livestock grazing
since 1906 .
IV EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
There are no structures , except fencing and a recently
installed well , currently existing on either of the subject
parcels .
It is proposed to dispose of sewage from each of the proposed
homesites and barn with individual on site septic systems .
There is only one neighbor who is in reasonable close
proximity to the subject property. This neighbor is utilizing a
septic system. This neighbor was interviewed and that information
is presented next :
OWNER: The Andres
ADDRESS: 23303 E. Hwy 12
LOCATION: Approximately 1000 feet south of the western Colburn
parcel .
AGE OF HOUSE: 7 years , septic system same .
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes , consist of a septic tank, leach line and dry
well , no problems with system during life of it .
V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING
A well was recently installed on the eastern parcel . During
the drilling of the well ground water was first encountered at a
depth of 70 feet . Although this depth is well below that which
would be affected by a septic system, it is quit shallow for what
would be expected in this area. This is probably due , however, to
the close proximity of Comanche reservoir to the subject property.
An embankment of the reservoir is located just north of the subject
property.
Due to the present and past use of the subject and surrounding
property ( grazing land ) , it was not felt necessary to test the well
water for any possible contamination.
VERSo
2 P ti
D A
Z W
O
P
4SS 0G
