A summary of the test results is presented next :
Diameter of Depth of
Test No Hole ( in. ) Hole ( in. ) Percolation Rate (min/in)
PT-1 8 36 167
PT-1 8 240 1 . 4
PT-2 8 42 0 . 9
PT-3 8 42 2 . 4
PT-4 8 42 2 . 1
For approximate location of both the test pit and percolation
test please see the Tentative Parcel Map in the Appendix.
VII CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation tests and the soil
profiles , it is our opinion that proposed homesites and barn at
percolation test locations 3 , 4 , and 5 are well suited for
installation of typical septic tank and leach line sewage disposal
systems . Based on the results of the shallow and deep percolation
tests and the soil profile , it is our opinion that the homesite at
percolation test location 1 is well suited for the use of a septic
tank, leach line and dry well ( 20 foot deep ) sewage disposal system.
Based on the depth to ground water in the area it is our
opinion that the installation of the proposed septic systems , if
properly installed , should not adversely affect the quality of the
ground water in the area.
VIII LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information
provided regarding the existing and proposed development and use
of the subject property and on the site conditions as they existed
at the time we excavated our test pits and performed the
percolation tests . It was assumed that the test pit and
percolation test results are representative of the subsurface
conditions in each of the general areas .
pERSO
4 v ti
D
Z W
O
gSSOG
P
