This contract includes a provision for technical support by the
California Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB).
PHSIEHD has recently received a letter from the CVRWQCB that providesuidance on how to
g G
analyze for,the oxygenated compounds in gasoline until a "definitive protocol" can be
established. Based on this letter, PHSIEHD is directing you to analyze samples from all of
your monitoring wells for Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE), Di-
isopropyl ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (ETBE) and Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether
(TAME) by'EPA method 8260.
