(GHH)is currently providing Ms. Lynn Swanson professional <br /> environmental services to conduct groundwater monitoring for the Colberg Boat Works <br /> (Colberg)project located at 401 North Stockton Street; Stockton, California. Ms. Swanson <br /> authorized;GHH to prepare a No Further Action Request(NEAR) for the site. The reportwas <br /> prepared, dated June 2002, and submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division(d6unty)and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(Regional <br /> Board) in accordance with the Tri-Regional Guidelines Appendix B. <br /> On November 26, 2002,Mr. Marty Hartzell of the Regional Board called GHH and requested <br /> that we submit an addendum to the NFAR addressing three issues, which are listed below with <br /> our respective responses. <br /> 1. 111 groundwater monitoring data must be included in the NFAR. During preparation <br /> Ihof the report GHH did not have access to groundwater monitoring data collected from <br /> October 30, 1997 through January 29, 1999. The data has been obtained and <br /> v included in the table included as Attachment A. The table is designated as a <br /> replacement for Table 5 in the NFAR. <br /> 2. ,Groundwater concentrations for Volatile Organic Compounds (Oxygenates) in the <br /> initial Table 5 of the NFAR were labeled in units of micrograms per liter(µg/l)but <br /> ,provided in milligrams per liter(mg/1).
