Apex was <br /> referencing"this site with an address at 401 North Stockton and San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health (County) is referencing this site at 858 West Fremont, Apex will now <br /> i reference this site as 858 West Fremont, This Workplan Addendum is in response to comments <br /> by the County to our original Workplan dated, May 2, 1995, The proposed investigation includes <br /> drilling six'on-site soil borings and completing them as groundwater monitoring wells (Figure 3). <br /> The purpose of the investigation is to assess the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons that may or may not be present in the shallow soil and/or groundwater at the site. <br /> PREVIOUS WORK <br /> On May 16 1986, Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc. Removed'two 550-gallon diesel, one 8,000 gallon diesel <br /> and one .1,000 gallon gasoline underground storage tanks (UST) from the site. The area around <br /> the gasoline UST was overexcavated in 1988. <br /> In February 1993, Telic Engineering Corporation (TEC) of Stockton, California, performed a <br /> Phase I investigation of the subject site and the surrounding area in a one,mile radius" TEC's. <br /> findings are summarized in their report in Phase I Preliminary Hazardous Materials Site <br /> Assessment dated July 21, 1993. <br /> Apex Envirotech, Inc. supervised the advancement of eleven subsurface probes to collect and <br /> groundwater samples from the site on December 12 and 13, 1994. Results of the-subsurface <br /> investigation is summarized in Phase H Site Assessment Report dated January 23, 1995.
