PHS/EHD concurs with this conclusion.
Analytical results of groundwater sampling from 1994 indicate that groundwater contamination is present only in
MW-2 which is the downgradient well. The report states that the groundwater plume has been defined to the west
and southeast of the site. The report recommends installation of a monitoring well downgradient of MW-2.
PHS/EHD concurs with the reports conclusion that the plume has been defined in the area of MW-I and MW-3.
PHS/EHD also concurs with the reports recommendation of installing an additional downgradient well.
At this time PHS/EHD recommends that a workplan for additional investigation of the downgradient portion of the
groundwater plume and additional investigation and remediation of soil contamination of the former UST location
be submitted to PHS/EHD by May 15, 1995.
For further information please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
4teven
asson, Senior REHS Diane M.
