Workplan For Ground-In Monitoring Well Installation And ContinuL ouarterly Ground-Water Sampling
File 8013-02
July 12, 1999
Page 4
L. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (EPA method 801.5 modified);
II.. The volatile fuel components benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and l
xylenes (BTEX) (EPA method 8020); and,
III.. Petroleum oxygenates (EPA method 8260 modified).
6. Soil drill cuttings are proposed to be'stored on-site in 55-gallon drums. The soil
analytical results will be used to determine ultimate soil disposal options.
7. Following completion of the investigation, a report will be prepared summarizing the
_ results of the well installation and the.subsequent round of quarterly ground-water
monitoring for ail five wells. The report will also include vicinity and site maps, a
" potentiometric;,surface map, a boring. log, a well construction diagram, tabulated
historical and current analytical data, .and analytical laboratory data sheets.' The
report will include recommendations for further action, and will be signed by a
registered civil engineer andlor,a registered geologist.- A copy will be furnished. to "
-San Joaquin County.
8. Quarterly ground-water'nonitoring and,sampling will be conducted for a total,of one
more'quarter for all five wells. The quarterly samplings will be reported-in Quarterly
'Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Reports. The.reports will include updated
potentiometric ,surface maps, updated ground-water elevation, flow and gradient
tables, and undated analytical tables. Copies, will be' furnished to San Joaquin
County.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions or-comments regarding this'workplan.
Respectfully,
JJW GEOSCIENCES Inc.
..
othy L.
