Fremont Street <br /> r Stockton, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has recently reviewed the underground storage } <br /> !! tank (UST) file for the above referenced site. <br /> E A 500 ' gallon unleaded gasoline UST was removed from the site in <br /> February 1988 and a soil sample was obtained from beneath the UST <br /> at that time . The depth at which the sample was obtained was 13 <br /> feet below grade. The analytical results of the soil sample <br /> indicated petroleum hydrocarbon contamination of 1000 parts . per <br /> million. Depth to groundwater in this area is 15 feet below grade . <br /> Therefore, a groundwater investigation is required for this site.In addition, remediation of the contaminated soil is required. <br /> Should you decide to investigate and remediate the contamination at <br /> �l <br /> III this site a workplan for the installation p Il tion of a minimum of three <br /> s ' , monitoring wells should be submitted to the Site Mitigation Unit of <br /> PHS/EHD. <br /> An "Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release Leak <br /> !' Contaminated Site Report" has been filed pursuant to Section <br /> 25180 . 7 of the Health and Safety Code. PHS/EHD is the local agency <br /> E� overseeing the investigation of leaking UST ' s.
