2 . MTBE has not been detected in any of the water samples . <br /> 3 . Except for the anomalous sampling in March, 1996 , the <br /> hydraulic gradient has been quite stable in a northerly <br /> direction. This agrees well with the regional gradient in �his <br /> 4- <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS : <br /> Based upon an analysis of all of the data collected to date at i <br /> this site, it appears that no further work/is required. The UST <br /> has been removed, approximatelyBf contaminated soil <br /> removed, the excavation filled with ill and covered with <br /> asphalt . The four (4) monitoring wells and eleven (11) soil <br /> borings have thoroughly defined the limits of soil & groundwater <br /> contamination. The water table is very shallow, less than 15 ' <br /> bgl, and the water is unsuitable for domestic use due to its ' <br /> high salinity and low trans ivity.
