J � <br /> STANDARD REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS <br /> HO-92-23 <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. The appearance of the home shall not be altered, nor the <br /> occupation within the residence be conducted in a manner <br /> which would cause the premises to differ from its <br /> residential character, either by the use of colors, <br /> materials, construction, lighting, signs, or the <br /> emission of sounds, noises, and vibrations. <br /> 2 . The home occupation shall not result in any change in <br /> the occupancy group of the structure as defined by the <br /> Uniform Building Code. <br /> 3 . All employees shall be members of the resident family <br /> and shall reside on the premises. <br /> 4 . There shall be no sale of merchandise on the premises. <br /> 5. Pedestrian and vehicular traffic is limited to that <br /> normally associated with residential districts. <br /> 6. The home occupation may involve the use of a commercial <br /> vehicle, not to exceed 10, 000 pounds gross weight or a <br /> single vehicle limousine service. <br /> 7 . Up to 25% of the living space of the home or 250 square <br /> feet, whichever is lesser, of the home may be used for <br /> for the home occupation and any related storage of <br /> materials and supplies. <br /> 8 . There shall be no outside storage of materials or <br /> equipment, no storage of hazardous material, including <br /> ammunition and gunpowder, nor shall merchandise be <br /> visible outside the home. <br /> 9 . The home occupation shall be confined within the main <br /> building. A detached garage shall be considered as part <br /> of the main building. Further, when conducted in a <br /> garage, the home occupation shall not eliminate the use <br /> of the garage as a parking space for a car. <br /> 10. The use of utilities and community facilities shall be <br /> limited to that normally associated with the use of the <br /> property for residential purposes. <br />
