A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading <br /> permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to per- <br /> forming any excavation or filling of earth material: <br /> a . A grading plan shall contain the information listed in <br /> the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70 , Section 7006 ( 1) . <br /> b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details <br /> and elevations of the adjacent parcels . Retaining wall <br /> details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> C. Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply with <br /> Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements" . <br /> d. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incor- <br /> porated in the grading plans . <br /> e. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foun- <br /> dation inspection . <br /> f . All grading permits are subject to approval by the other <br /> departments . <br /> 2 . In order to commence construction beyond the foundation <br /> stage, requirements of emergency vehicle access and adequate <br /> water for fire suppression shall be provided in accordance <br /> with Section 10 . 207 , Section 10 . 312 and Sections 87 . 103 (a) , <br /> (b) , and (c) of the 1985 Uniform Fire Code. Compliance with <br /> these requirements will be determined by the Fire District <br /> with jurisdiction over the project. <br /> JH/mec <br />
