Connection to an approved public water supply system is <br /> required . A letter from the water supplier will be <br /> required stating that they have the capacity to serve <br /> the development and that the system meets State <br /> standards prior to recording the final map. <br /> If public sewers are riot available perform a <br /> suitability study for septic tank usage . In order for <br /> Devel-pmt the County to determine the suitability of an area <br /> and 9-'10 proposed for septic tank usage, the applicant shall <br /> Provide information concerning all of the following: <br /> 1 . The intensity and extent of the existing and the <br /> proposed development on septic tanks within and <br /> around the area; <br /> 2 . The suitability of the soil for development <br /> utilizing septic systems ; <br /> 3 . The depth and gradient of the water table; <br /> 4 . The history of past uses in the project area to <br /> assess potential problems; <br /> 5 . Other information as required by the Environmental <br /> Health Division to determine the cumulative effect <br /> of the existing and the proposed development on <br /> ground water contamination. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
