Gau
Senior Civil Engineer
Development Services/Engineering Division
SUBJECT: DC-92-3
RANCHETTES LIMITED OF CHARLES PRINGLE
-----------------------------------------------------------------
It has come to my attention that the LA-92-15 was processed in
error. The Notice of Lot Line Adjustment has been recorded. A
Parcel Map was recorded in Book 11 at Page 22 in March of 1982
that created Parcel "A" which is 1. 33 acres and merged the
balance of antiquated subdivision lots 20, 21 and 22 as Parcel
"B" , also shown as the remainder. Therefore, the Lot Line
Adjustment Application to adjust these parcel lines should not
have been approved. In my discussions with County Counsel,
Mike McGrew we concluded that the administrative remedy would be
to record a Parcel Map over the property that would be consistent
with the Lot Line Adjustment Application that was approved.
Relative to approved Right of Way Application RW-90-23 , it
expired in December, 1991 without the conditions of approval
having been completed. Again, in my discussions with
Mike McGrew, we concluded that although a Time Extension could
have been applied for but it was not; and, too much time has
passed since it expired, (from December to this date) to grant a
Time Extension. Therefore, Mr. Pringle will have to file for a
new Private Right of Way Application.
The status of the bridge, as I have discussed with Lumen Arceo,
is that the plans for the bridge have been approved and that the
bridge structure has been inspected and finalized as complete.
TMG: ss
MEMO.DC
c: Jerry Herzick, Deputy Director
Chuck Kelley, Department of Public Works
James Miller, Environmental Health Division
