In the event that a <br /> spillage occurs, contain liquid if possible. <br /> 12. Prevent splashing of the contaminated materials. <br /> 13. Field crew members shall be familiar with the physical charac- <br /> teristics of investigations, includ ,�ng: <br /> t <br /> o Wind direction in relation to 'contaminated area; <br /> o Accessibility to equipment and vehicles; <br /> o Communications; <br /> o Hot zone (areas of known or s1spected contamination) ; <br /> o Site access; and <br /> o Nearest water sources. <br /> 14. The number of personnel and equipment in the contaminated area <br /> should be minimized but only to the extent consistent with workforce <br /> requirements of safe site operations. <br /> 15. All wastes generated during Dames'il & Moore and/or subcontractor <br /> activities at the site will be disposed of as directed by the PM. <br /> i I <br /> 16.
