Per <br /> your request, additional, deeper soil samples were analyzed and found to <br /> contain no detectable levels of hydrocarbonsl.:or oil and grease. Please <br /> see Table 1 , Page 9 or Drawing 14 in the report for test results. <br /> PG&E proposes the following work: <br /> 1. During the installation of .the new transformer oil tank <br /> (construction scheduled to start March 1 1988) any contamination <br /> encountered will be removed and disposed 'of as hazardous waste. <br /> 2.. The near surface soils contaminated with ;oil and grease, located <br /> under the piping along the rear fence, will be excavated and I <br /> disposed of as hazardous waste. <br /> 3. The entire area, which includes the locations of both the old and <br /> new tanks, piping and sumps will be capped with an. asphaltic <br /> concrete pavement to rapidly drain surface water away from the area. <br /> Acceptance of the proposal or any questions or comments may be directed <br /> to Mr. Mike Bennett at '(209)443-5568. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> 'S�11 <br /> R.
