Box 930 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />This is the written report on the oil spill that was reported to your office on August 11, <br />1998. The location is 1636 North EI Dorado in Stockton. The State Office of <br />Emergency Services assigned the following OES control number, 98-3760 to this spill <br />event. Notification was also made to the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency <br />Services August 11, 1998. <br />On August 11, 1998, at about 06:12 hours, PG&E was notified of a leaking transformer <br />at the above mentioned. location. Approximately 12 gallons of 14 PPM PCB mineral oil <br />,was released. The oil was contained and clean up activities were conducted by our <br />Environmental Contractor, clean-up included removing all visible traces of the oil double <br />washing/rinsing all solid surfaces. Approximately 20 yards of spill debris was <br />transported to Chemical Waste Management for proper disposal.
