The service center consists of ten buildings and a yard for parking vehicles and storing equipment. The yard is paved with asphalt, concrete, gravel and compacted soil. The following buildings structures and areas are located at the Service Center. The locations of these buildings, structures and areas are shown on the facility layout, Figure 2-1. Office Building: This building houses offices and meeting rooms for Stockton Division staff, Electric & Gas Engineering and Meter Reading personnel. It is located adjacent to West Lane. Operations This building houses offices and shops for the Building: Stockton Division Electric and Gas crews, Support Services, Human Resources, Electric Meter Department, and the Division Electric Operations. The division switching operations, which is manned at all times, is also located in this building. This building is located east of the Division Office Building. Warehouse This building is the main storage and Building: distribution center for materials and supplies for the operating departments throughout the Division. It is located east of the Operations Building. Garage: This building is used to perform maintenance and repair of automotive equipment used by Division personnel. It is located east of the Warehouse. Building Department Storage Building: Gas Department Storage Building: This building is used to store miscellaneous supplies for the Building Department. This building is used to store Gas Department tools and equipment. It is located north of the Warehouse. Electric Department This building is used to store electric tools Storage Building: and equipment for the Electric Department. It is located north of the Warehouse. Transformer This building is used to perform minor repair Repair Building: of transformers. It is located southeast of the Warehouse near the south fence. 2-2
