This projeM consists of a Use Pernii application <br /> for the expansion of an existing brining facility to ba constmctetl in two (2) phases over six (6) years. Phase 1 is the <br /> construction of 58,000 square foot warehouse with a 600-kW solar system on the roof. Phase 2 includes the construction <br /> of an 8,000 square foot non-refrigerated bulk goods storage building, a 1,500 square fool shop atldltion, and a 3,000 <br /> square foot raw materials cooler. Access is via a private easement from State Routes 4. The property utilizes an existing <br /> septic system, a well for water, and a retention pond. The project site is located approximately 3,500 feet from the south <br /> side of State Rouke 4, on a private easement. Tha easement is approximately 1,200 feet west of Drais Avenue, StocKton <br /> (APN/Address: 1 8 3-1 40-1 0/1 63 50 East State Route 4,Stockton). <br /> San Joaquin County is a signatory to San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Space Plan <br /> (SJMSCP). Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the state and federal endangered species acts, <br /> and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a level of significance in compliance with the Caiifomia Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA). The LOCAL JURISDICTION retains responsibilRy for ensuring that the appropriate Incidental Take <br /> Minimization Measure are properly implemented and monitored and that appropriate fees era paid in compliance with She <br /> SJMSCP. Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, Local Jurisdle[ion/Laad Agencies should be aware that if <br /> project applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP,they will ba required Yo provide-alternative mitigatbn in an <br /> amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> This protect is subject to the S✓MSCP and is located within the unmapped land use area. Per requirements of the <br /> SJMSCP, unmapped projects are subject to case-by-case review.
