1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of a 160 acre parcel and a 146 acre parcel, located <br /> at Ospital Road, Linden, CA. The project is in an agricultural community, <br /> and the existing parcel is zoned AG-80. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to create (2) 80 acre parcels and (2) <br /> 73 acre parcels. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This <br /> report will investigate the property for visual or historical environmental contamination <br /> based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county records. (This SSCR <br /> includes no chemical analysis) <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative map with Vicinity Map, and APN <br /> Page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of <br /> information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owner, Bill Carlson. Mr. L ,I/ <br /> Carlson was interviewed on March 2, 2005 by Joe Murphy. Mr. Carlson has owned the property <br /> for the past year. The land use has not changed under his tenure. <br /> Presently the property is used as a grazing land. The surrounding properties (north, south, east, (-z, <br /> and west) are also used for grazing land. <br /> The only imminent plans for the property are to split the parcel into (4)parcels. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched at <br /> the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on January 26, 2005 (see appendix for <br /> results). A review of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health's contaminated site list did <br /> not yield any contamination concerns. An onsite survey performed on February 19, 2005 by <br /> Joe Murphy of Dillon& Murphy, as well as interviewing the present owner, Bill Carlson on <br /> March 2, 2005. <br /> 3.2 Description of All Past On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground <br /> Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Past on-site potential for <br /> contamination are low. The property has been used as grazing land for more than 10 years. <br /> --v Historically there have been no underground storage tanks. The owner has no knowledge of <br /> above ground storage of chemicals.
