GROUNDWATER INFORMATION <br /> V <br /> Description Of The Depth And Gradient Of Groundwater In The Area <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Works Department Internal Groundwater Data Center <br /> (http://www.sjmap.org/groundwater� was reviewed. The spring 2008 and Fall 2007 maps are <br /> the most current maps available from the County. According to these maps (Plates A4&A5), <br /> ground water lies between 2 above and 5 feet below mean sea level (50 to 57 feet below the <br /> ground surface) and flows northeast at the gradient of 30 feet per mile in the vicinity of the site. <br /> No ground water was encountered during the drilling of the borehole to a depth of 25 feet <br /> below ground surface on March 12, 2009. <br /> Ground Water Contamination Issues in the Area <br /> Potential groundwater issues in the area consist of contamination from leaching of <br /> agricultural chemicals, winery waste water, fuel tank leakage, septic system usage and storm <br /> JR SQUARED CONSULTING,INC.
