March 19, 2009
Environmental- Engineering• Geology Project Number 2009007
Willard Russell Fields
1792 Tribute#400
Sacramento, California 95815
Subject: Nitrate Loading Study For
3807 E Woodbridge Road
Acampo, California 95220
APN: 013-210-29
Mr. Fields:
JR Squared Consulting has prepared a Nitrate Loading Study (NLS) for the property located
at the 3807 E Woodbridge Road, Acampo, California. This report was produced in accordance
with the San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department, Nitrate Loading Study
Requirement Checklist.
. CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE SOIL
Description of Chemical and Physical Properties of the Soils
The soil properties for this site are discussed in the Soil Suitability Study in Section 5.
Mass Transport Properties of the Soils
The percolation tests indicate the soils onsite are moderately permeable. Moderately
permeable soils allow slow to moderate infiltration of water through the soils. Treatment of the
effluent occurs in the surface soils. Therefore, the longer the effluent stays near the surface the
more treatment occurs. Under heavy effluent demand in permeable soils, it is possible that
effluent contaminates could impact the first groundwater beneath the site.
JR SQUARED CONSULTING,INC.
