Box 388 <br /> Stockton,CA 95201-0388 <br /> RE: Response to Stockton Terminal Inspection on 12-13-94 <br /> Dear Letitia: <br /> Please reference the attached Hazardous Waste Inspection Report which you prepared in <br /> conjunction with your routine inspection of our Stockton,CA terminal facility on 12-13-94. <br /> This letter is to respond to the violations which were noted,and to also note the provisions which <br /> have been made to satisfy the code requirements which were referenced. <br /> Violations 13, 14 and 17: <br /> A cellular phone has been purchased and is carried by the terminal operator when performing any <br /> work in the tank farm area by himself. The phone has been tested and is capable of summoning <br /> emergency assistance from local police,tire,or emergency response teams. <br /> Violation 45: <br /> The latest revision of the Stockton Terminal SPCC Plan,dated 12/15/93 is on file at the terminal, <br /> This copy was not on site at the time of your visit. The plan has been certified by a registered <br /> professional engineer. <br /> Violation 49: <br /> The Stockton Terminal Operator completed and passed an 8 hour Hazwopper Training Course on <br /> December 21, 1994. The training is in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 <br /> and qualifies the terminal operator as an operations level first responder for hazardous materials <br /> emergencies.
