2.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' BSK & Associates, Inc (BSK) has prepared this Data Report based on drilling, soil sampling, <br /> and quarterly groundwater sampling activities During site activities BSK was the prime drilling <br /> contractor (C-57 #490942) <br /> The jobsite is located at 1400 Waterloo Road in Stockton, California (refer to Figure 1, Site <br />' Map). <br />' 21 Permits - Prior to commencement of drilling, a permit application (see Attachment A) and <br /> an addendum to the Work Plan (dated February 12, 1993) were submitted to San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (SJPHS) for approval. SJPHS was <br />' notified 48 hours before any drilling or sampling began During placement of grout backfill and <br /> groundwater sampling a SJPHS inspector (Mary Meays) was present to observe field activities <br />' 22 Underground Utilities - Underground Service Alert (USA) was notified 48 hours before <br /> any subsurface work began Drilling activities did not commence until clearance was approved <br /> 1 by the utility companies <br /> 23 Site Safety Plan - Work was performed under the guidelines presented in a BSK prepared <br /> Health and Safety Plan <br /> 3.0 DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLING METHODOLOGY <br />' A BSK & Associates geologist under direct supervision of a Registered Civil Engineer was <br /> present during drilling, soil sampling and groundwater sampling Dunes included- <br /> Filing permits and notifying SJPHS and Underground Service Alert before field <br /> activities began <br /> • <br /> Coordination i n and timingof field activities <br />' Implementing the Health and Safety Plan <br /> • Monitoring the air during drilling for the presence of volatile organic vapors <br />' 2 <br /> ', &,Assoc ates <br />
