13.0 Recommendations Data from the Lipton site indicate that_corrective actions (source removal and removal of heavily impacted soil) have effectively removed the majority of the mass of TPH as diesel, the only chemical of concern at this site The microbial activity in the soil is well suited for intrinsic bioremediation, which appears to be occurring There is no known surface pathway for migration of TPH as diesel from the soil to the groundwater since the site is completely paved The concentrations of TPH as diesel measured in the groundwater do not pose a risk to any potential receptor, have never exceeded secondary action levels for TPH, and are not projected to increase Therefore, it is recommended that this site be closed and no further action be required ■ 14.0 References IT Corporation, 1995a.
