13.0 Recommendations <br /> Data from the Lipton site indicate that_corrective actions (source removal and removal of <br /> heavily impacted soil) have effectively removed the majority of the mass of TPH as diesel, <br /> the only chemical of concern at this site The microbial activity in the soil is well suited for <br /> intrinsic bioremediation, which appears to be occurring There is no known surface pathway <br /> for migration of TPH as diesel from the soil to the groundwater since the site is completely <br /> paved The concentrations of TPH as diesel measured in the groundwater do not pose a risk <br /> to any potential receptor, have never exceeded secondary action levels for TPH, and are not <br /> projected to increase Therefore, it is recommended that this site be closed and no further <br /> action be required <br />■ 14.0 References <br /> IT Corporation, 1995a.
