1 <br /> 2.0 Site Activities <br /> 2.1 Preconstruction Submittals <br />' Prior to the initiation of field activities this Plan will be approved by Van Den Bergh Foods <br /> and County representatives Any necessary deviations from the approved Plan due to vaned <br /> field conditions will be approved by Van Den Bergh Foods and County representatives prior <br /> to implementation A site specific Health and Safety Plan (Appendix A) will also be <br /> approved by Van Den Bergh Foods prior to the initiation of site activities All work related <br /> to this project will be conducted in accordance with IT Corporation's Standard Quality <br /> Practices <br /> 1 <br /> 2.2 Permitting <br /> IT will coordinate with the County to obtain approval of this Plan on behalf of Van Den <br /> Bergh Foods prior to initiation of excavation activities Approval from the County registered <br /> ' environmental health specialist (REHS) will be obtained at least 48 hours in advance of field <br /> work A Site Development Permit will be procured from the Stockton City Building <br /> Department prior to the start of excavation No Air Permits will be required from the San <br /> Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District for excavated material that is stockpiled <br /> at the site temporarily. No well installation permit is anticipated at this time <br /> 2.3 Field Activities <br /> ' The plan_W field activities are described below and will include <br /> • Mobilization <br /> • Soil Excavation and Characterization <br /> • Installation of a Vapor Observation Point <br /> • Backfilling and Site Restoration <br /> • Soil Disposal P <br /> • Groundwater Sampling <br /> • Demobilization. <br /> 2.3.1 Mobilization <br /> ' All equipment required for this project in accordance with the schedule will be made <br /> available Equipment required to stay at the facility will be stored in a secure location <br /> assigned by Van Den Bergh Foods.
