They can be filled to surface but keep the
box/wellhead monument in place to make them.
Adrienne
From: John Yoakum [EH]
Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 4:05 PM
To: Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH]
Subject: FW: Request for variance of well destruction methods at NuStar Terminal, Rough &Ready Island
Adrienne,
Here is the request for variance at the Bulk Fuel Terminal at Rough and Ready Island.
I have seen the borings and know that what he says is true.
Johnny
From: Jim Kundert [mailto:jim.kundert@cardno.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 3:18 PM
To: John Yoakum [EH]
Subject: Request for variance of well destruction methods at NuStar Terminal, Rough & Ready Island
Five wells remain at the NuStar Terminal property: I13-12, MW-4, MW-14, P-5, and P-6.
MW-4 is too close to an active propane line to put tools or a rig on. The line is part of an active vapor recovery and
control system at the facility, and decommissioning it and moving it and several other lines out of the way would involve
shutting down the entire facility.
1
