AURORA WAY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 95202 <br /> v <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Chevron U.S .A. , Incorporated (Chevron) , owns land at 540_N. <br /> Aurora Wav in Stockton, California, where several underground <br /> LA <br /> fuel storage tanks were removed in 1987 . Soil samples taken from <br /> under the fill end of the tanks were analyzed and the samples <br /> contained lead (Pb) above current regulatory advisory levels <br /> under two of the three tanks . As a result, the site requires <br /> further investigation to determine the extent and cleanup needs <br /> of the contaminated soil . The following report contains the <br /> background information and a soils contamination work plan <br /> proposal for the Aurora Way site as required by the San Joaquin <br /> County Local Health District, Environmental Health Division. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> " The underground fuel tanks subject to investigation were on <br /> property owned by Chevron. The following is the location of the <br /> property. <br /> 60 <br /> The street address is 540 N. Aurora Way, Stockton, California. <br /> The Assessor' s Parcel Number is APN 151-080-43 . The property is <br /> LN located in Section 2, TINE R6E, MDB & M. The property has been <br /> operated by Carnation Company. The property owner' s contact is <br /> ' Bob Gemeinhardt at Route One, Box 25, Coalinga, California, <br /> �. 93210 . <br /> The site is located on the attached area and vicinity map labeled <br /> as Figure 1 . <br /> SITE HISTORY <br /> The underground fuel tanks proposed for investigation were <br /> " utilized by Carnation Company at a warehouse complex located on <br /> property leased from Chevron. The property has been operated as <br /> a distributorship for Carnation dairy food products for over 35 <br /> years . During the last 21 years the site has been operated by <br /> L, Mr. Johnny Diamond. , Mr. Diamond marketed Carnation Products with <br /> six trucks . The underground fuel storage system was used by Mr. <br /> Diamond for his trucks up until the time they were removed. <br />
