Lock and barricade the doors, <br /> turn off any lights, stay away from windows and doors and create the <br /> impression that no one is in the room. <br /> 8/ When the police arrive and take charge of the situation, move slowly <br /> when you leave your area, keep your hands visible and follow their <br /> instructions. The Security Manager, Safety Manager or Senior Company <br /> Manager on site should make contact with law enforcement personnel <br /> when they arrive on site. <br /> 9/ If the situation occurs that the shooter/robber exits prior to the arrival of <br /> the law enforcement teams, attempt to obtain get-away vehicle description <br /> including license plate number, and direction of flight. <br /> 10/ Telephone Reporting Procedures, the Police Department should be <br /> notified by dialing 9-9-1-1 and providing them with the following <br /> information: <br /> a. Tell them there is a shooter/robber in the facility. <br /> b. Give the location of: <br /> ADESA Golden Gate <br /> 18501 W Stanford Road <br /> Tracy, CA <br /> (Cross street Mountain House Parkway) <br /> c. Identify the location of the building by Name and Alphabet. <br /> (Main Auction Building - A, Check-in/Security Building - B <br /> etc.) <br /> d. Let them know that an employee will meet them for further <br /> directions. <br /> e. Let Security know that an emergency exists, where and what it <br /> is, and that the emergency responders are on their way. <br /> Security will provide a pilot vehicle to escort the emergency <br /> equipment to the emergency site. <br /> f. EXIT the Building or Facility, if required, and go to assigned <br /> refuge area. <br /> 13 <br />
