Fremont:St., Stockton
WORKPLAN:FOR PLACING SOIL/WATER PROBES:
1. Mobilize properly licensed push-type equipment at approximate locations shown on
PLATE A. Actual locations will depend upon locations of underground utilities and
pipelines, and buildings.
2. Soil samples in each probe hole will be taken at 4', 8', and 12' below grade as directed by
the geologist in charge. The samples will be described, sealed, and preserved for
analysis by a State Certified laboratory using prescribed WJH field procedures.
3. Water samples will be taken in each hole by use of a hydropunch or similar tool. They
will be preserved and stored under prescribed WJH field protocol.
4. Samples will be analysed for benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, xylene& TPH as gasoline
using Tri-Regional& San Joaquin Co. detection limits.s. Oxygenates have not been
k analyzed from soil samples taken during earlier work, but none have detected in water
samples. We do not believe that it is necessary to perform that analysis.
` 5. All probe holes will be thoroughly grouted from bottom to the surface as directed by the
San Joaquin'Co. EHD.
Additional work( soil borings and/or monitoring wells,)will be discussed after completion
of this phase.
When approvathas been received, we will solicit bids from qualified vendors and prepare a
pre-approval package for our client to submit to the Cleanup Fund. When that approval is
received, we will submit a drilling permit application, and schedule the work.
Wm. J.
