(GTI)
proposes to submit one soil sample from each of the three lithologically distinct layers for
geophysical analyses. The geophysical analyses will aid in calculating the mass of
contamination remaining in the soil and move the project toward achieving a no further action
required sanction. The soil samples have been previously collected and have been stored 'at
4 p p Y
GTI.
1. Soil Sample Analyses
• Submit one soil sample:from each of three lithologically distinct layers to Cooper
Testing Laboratory:
❑ Moisture and Density'.
❑ Organic Content
❑ Total Porosity
❑ Permeability
ED Hydraulic Conductivity
2. We have found that Cooper Testing Labs, Mountain View, CA to be both cost effective and
competent in performing geophysical soil analyses.,
a
A budget-spread sheet is attached and shows itemized cost for the tasks proposed. In an attempt
to make this Pre-Approval flow smoothly, we have used the same unit costs for this work that
have previously been approved by the USTCFP for other projects.
I Geological Technics Inc. .accepts field support services and lab invoices and adds a 15%
overhead fee.
I
