t <br /> URS <br /> Ms.Lori Duncan Page 4 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> July 5, 2002 <br /> Soil cuttings and waste water generated during the drilling activities will be placed in labeled <br /> 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved steel drums and stored on site until <br /> disposal. <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Well Development,Sampling,and Surveying <br /> After installation, the groundwater monitoring wells will be developed by rigorously surging over the <br /> length of the screen interval and by purging a minimum of 10 casing volumes of water. The wells will <br /> be surveyed to mean sea level by a licensed surveyor. <br /> Groundwater samples will be collected from the newly installed groundwater monitoring wells no <br /> sooner than 48 hours after well development. Groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg by EPA <br /> Method 8015/8020 and BTEX, MTBE, TAME, DIPE, ETBE, TBA, EDB, and 1,2-DCA by EPA <br /> Method 8260B. Attachment H presents detailed groundwater sampling and analysis procedures. <br /> Report Preparation <br /> Following receipt of the analytical results, a report will be prepared summarizing the results of the <br /> investigation.
