KYLE CHRISTIE
PAGE 2
October 30, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. at the office of PHS/EHD. A summary of this meeting is
addressed in a separate letter.
V/1617 W. Fremont St., Stockton ARCO Facility #5450
PHSIEHD contact - Michael Infurna
Soil contamination was discovered during a recent line replacement. A workplan to investigate
the full extent of the contamination will.be submitted to PHSIEHD.
800 E. Kettleman, Lodi ARCO Facility #2076
PHDIEHD contact - Mary Meays
Emcon stated that the most recent groundwater sample results continue to confirm that
groundwater has not been impacted by residual soil contamination at this time. A request to
reduce the sampling frequency of the monitoring wells will be made in the next quarterly report.
Arco will perform a long term vapor extraction test to develop a future plan of action for the
site.
1612 Hammer Lane, Stockton ARCO Facility #548
PHSIEHD contact - Mary Meays
The pending tank removal was discussed. However, it has not yet been determined if the
tanks will be replaced at this site. Arco will submit'a letter clarifying several items in the
workplan that was submitted. The number, location and design of the vapor extraction wells
proposed for the site were discussed and appropriate action will be taken based on data to be
collected at the site.
There has been no response frorh the property owner for the off-site access request. Emcon
will forward copies of request letters to PHSIEHD for followup.
2908 W. Ben Halt, Stockton ARCO Facility #2133
PHSIEHD contact - Mary Meays
The remediation system is fully operational with almost no down time being reported. The
recent release from the dispenser piping was discussed. Approximately 30 gallons of product
has been removed from monitoring well MW#10 and bailing continues on a weekly basis. The
remedial system has been modified to focus on this area at this time. Dissolved oxygen is
increasing in concentration in the site wells. The third quarter quarterly report is to be
submitted soon.
f 85 East Louise, Lathrop ARCO Facility #6080
PHSIEHD contact - Linda Turkatte
SITE CLOSED
225 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi ARCO Facility #760
PHSIEHD contact - Linda Turkatte
The next submittal for this site is to be a Corrective Action Plan, which will include the design
specifications of the remedial system proposed for the site. The status of operations at other
Arco facilities may change the priority of cleanup at this site. As groundwater contamination at
this site is nominal and being monitored, focusing resources at other sites with a higher priority
appears to be a reasonable approach at this time. PHSIEHD will entertain a proposal for a
reduction in groundwater sampling frequency at this site.
