4' r! <br /> CHRONOLOGY . <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 5450 <br /> 1617 West Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, California 95203-2038 <br /> 10/20/97 Environmental Health Department (EHD) issued`a ."No Further Action <br /> Required" letter. on this date for this site after investigation of <br /> contamination discovered during the underground storage tank system <br /> piping replacement. <br /> 11/24/99 Eighteen soil samples were collected during facility product piping and <br /> dispenser upgrades. Soil sample PL9=5.5, collected at the east side of the <br /> dispensers, contained . concentrations of toluene, ethyl benzene, total <br /> xylenes, and MTBE.at 0.0436 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg), 0.0124 <br /> mg/kg, 0.0925 mg/kg, and 0.201 mg/kg,.respectively, and two other soil <br /> samples contained low concentrations of total xylenes. <br /> 08/24/01 EHD filed Unauthorized Release Form(URF#01-U12) and Notification of <br /> Hazardous Waste Discharge#01-039. <br /> 08/31/01 Site entered the Local:Oversight Program (LOP). <br /> 02/21/02 Three soil borings (SB-1, SB-2, and SB-3) wereadvanced and MTBE was <br /> detected in grab groundwater samples from the three borings , at <br /> concentrations of 68 µg/L, 3.7 µg/L, and 43 pg/L, respectively. <br /> 08/28/02 Three monitoring wells (MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4) were installed onsite. <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbon contamination was not found at approximately 10 <br /> feet bsg in any soil samples collected during well installations. <br /> Groundwater monitoring began in September 2002 and continued through <br /> November 2005. <br /> ji <br /> 12/22/04 Date of Sensitive Receptor Survey. Report. No water supply well was <br /> identified within the 2,000-foot radius of this site. The nearest surface <br /> water is the Port of Stockton Channel located approximately 300 feet . <br /> south/southwest of the site.. No other sensitive receptors were identified <br /> within 500 feet of the site. <br /> 12/22/05 Date of Site. Closure Report. <br /> 02/15/06 Site discussed with CVRWQCB for potential site closure concurrence. <br />
