4 <br /> URS <br /> DEC 2 3 2004 <br /> December 22, 2004 _ENVR'.',%it'iEN1 HEALTH <br /> J� <br /> Ms. Vicki McCartney 05450 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 06.0 <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 Jt,,, <br /> Reference: Sensitive Receptor Survey Report <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 5450 <br /> 1617 West Fremont Street <br /> Stockton,California <br /> Dear Ms. McCartney: <br /> URS has prepared this sensitive receptor survey report on behalf of Atlantic Richfield Company(ARCO—a <br /> BP affiliated company)for ARCO service station 5450 in Stockton,California.The sensitive receptor survey <br /> was requested in the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEI D)letter dated August <br /> 16, 2004 (Attachment A). <br /> The following pages present a brief summary of the site background and results of the sensitive receptor <br /> survey. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 1617 West Fremont Street in Stockon,California.The site is currently operating as an <br /> ARCO gasoline service station and AMIPM mini-mart. Site facilities include double-walled fiberglass <br /> gasoline underground storage tanks(USTs)and associated product lines and dispensers.A site location map <br /> with sensitive receptors is provided as Figure 1. Quarterly groundwater monitoring has been conducted at the <br /> site since the third quarter of 2002 using monitoring wells MW-2 through MW-4. <br /> The general groundwater flow direction beneath the site has ranged from southwest to northwest during the <br /> eight quarterly groundwater monitoring events at the site.The site hydraulic gradient has ranged from 0.0006 <br /> to 0.03 feet per foot. <br /> Sensitive Receptors <br /> URS conducted a Department of Water Resources(DWR)well search within a 2,000-foot radius of the site. <br /> No water supply wells were identified within the 2,000-foot radius from the site.Two water supply wells were <br /> identified outside the 2,000-foot radius from the site in the DWR search. The wells are located to the north- <br /> northwest and northwest from the site. Water supply well details are provided in Table 1. The supply well <br /> locations are shown on Figure 1.
