Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Dear Ms . Hinson:
At this time we are planning on taking another ground water sample
from the ground-water: monitoring well drilled on May 2p , 1991 . We
a're doing this on the basis the first water sample t aken and the
test :sults showed a minute amount of benzene Contamintion ( .0016.
mg/1) and that there could have been an: error the tes results .
We are doing this on the basis that if the new sample shows benzene
and other contaminates are below acceptable standards that we can ,
assume that the qround water has not been impacted a d that the
dr_ , ling of two additional ground-water monitoring we is will not
` be ndcessary.
Further, and in ainy event, we plan on installing two soil borings
' through and below the two areas that show elevated contamination in
the soil. Either. soil removal or further soil remediation will bN
done based on the sample results from the borings.
If the water sample shows Contaminates at unacceptabl levels , we
will then proceed with the work plan as outlined m4y lette. ^ -i
September 4 , 1991. f
Please call me if you have any questions or if theisplan is not
acceptable.
i
Very truly yours,;
Pete Ruhkala r ,jtALXH SERV1CtS
Secretary-Treasurter Pik %4 3oAQ114 COUNTY
i
1601 F.lLST iiAZL TOY WEHUc
pWT CFrM: 30x 2009
• opt,CALkF0F t1A 95ZO
1
w 1 U Atis a E
N tiw 6.ie r,3 Apb TOS
j 1P 1.>✓ w.. t3 PrT P-'C"'fl`5 L81T L : 'SPuT"
' ggrnc.tia 6`1a Ls ~ C,euFt•[t.r11 QdC.
