Since the sail boring was drilled <br /> through the excavation,gravel fill was encountered to a depth of 16.5 feet. <br /> Sands were encountered from 16.5 to 76 feet, with one sandy clay <br /> interbed at a depth of approximately 53 to 58 feet. <br /> -�; 4.2 Ground Water <br /> Ground avatar was first encountered approximately 69 feet below the <br /> -1 ground surface, and the static water level is approximately 68 feet below <br /> _ the ground surface.
