Fremont Street
STOCKTON CA
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the
Additional Site Assessment Work Plan dated October 31, 2007, submitted on your
behalf by Advance GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) and has the following comments.
In the WP, AGE proposes to investigate the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-
impacted soil and ground water by advancing one Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT)
boring 60 feet below surface grade (bsg) at the former underground storage tank (UST)
area and installing three monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 with screen intervals
5 to 20 feet bsg. MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 will be installed 25 feet northwest, 25 feet
southwest, and 20 feet east of the former UST area, respectively.
EHD approves the proposed advancement of CPT-1 and installation of MW-1, MW-2,
and MW-3. Submit to the EHD a well permit application, $89.00 permit fee, and $294.00
inspection fee for each drilling contractor hired to construct the proposed boring and
wells. Once the well permit has been approved, notify EHD of the proposed schedule for
the work. The EHD requires a minimum 48-hour notice prior to initiation of any field work
on the site. EHD directs that the proposed work be implemented by February 25, 2008.
Please feel free to contact Frank Girardi at (209) 953-7868 if you have any questions.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
rank Girardi, Senior REHS Nuel C.
