Fremont Street, Stockton, CA
Mike,
The three wells installed at 1950 W. Fremont St., Stockton, CA (MW-1 though MW-3) were constructed as
follows:
. 2"diameter, 0.020"slotted Sched. 40 PVC screen from 5 to 20 feet bgs;
. 2"diameter Sched. 40 PVC blank casing 0.5 to 5 feet bgs;
• #2J12 Monterey sand 4 to 20 feet bgs;
. Bentonite chips 3 to 4 feet bgs (hydrated at least 30 minutes);
. Cement grout 2 to 3 feet bgs;
. Concrete and 8-inch diameter well box 0 to 2 feet bgs.
. Well MW-1 had to be moved approx. 30 feet south of the proposed location and was not installed until
Tuesday, June 10th. Several attempts were made to hand auger at the proposed location but the drillers
could not get below approx. 1 foot bgs due to gravel and cobbles.
Water was measured in well MW-3 at approximately 8 feet bgs a couple of hours after installation. Well
development will be completed on Friday. Please let me know if you need more information or have questions.
Paul
6/1 1/2008
