Fremont <br /> Stockton , CA 95206 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services , Environmental Health Division ( PHS/EHD) <br /> has reviewed the analytical results of the soil and/or water samples collected beneath <br /> the underground storage tank(s) that was/were permanently closed at this site on <br /> December 15 , 1999 . <br /> Based on the levels of contaminants present in the samples collected , further <br /> investigation to determine the extent of the soil and/or groundwater contamination is <br /> required . <br /> An " Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release ( Leak)/Contaminated Site <br /> Report" has been filed pursuant to Section 25295 of the Health and Safety Code (HSC) . <br /> The appropriate disclosure of a hazardous waste discharge pursuant to Section <br /> 25180 .7 of the HSC has been made , and the site has been placed on the list of <br /> contaminated sites in San Joaquin County which is maintained by PHS/EHD . <br /> PHS/EHD under contract with the State of California Water Resources Control Board <br /> (SWRCB ) oversees the investigation and remediation of contamination from leaking <br /> UST' s . Responsible parties must take corrective action in response to an unauthorized <br /> release , in compliance with Section 25299 . 37 of the HSC and Corrective Action <br /> Regulations adopted pursuant to Section 25299 . 77 of the HSC . <br /> PHS/EHD uses the SWRCB "Prioritization System for Leaking Underground Storage <br /> Tank Sites" to prioritize all the contaminated sites .
