The CUF concurs with the EHD that the Responsible Party (RP) should begin active
remediation without delay.
Last June ozone sparging wells were installed ; a building permit to construct a remediation
compound has been procured and power to the system still needs to be provided . The EHD is
concerned that the CUF budget of $ 10 , 000 for the site may be the next impediment to
implementation . The EHD will push to get remediation started .
If the EHD can be of further service to you, your requests, questions and/or comments should
be directed to Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337 or to Nuel Henderson at (209) 468-3436.
Sincerely, /
Lori Duncan , REHS Nuel Henderson , PG
Senior Registered Environmental Engineering Geologist
Health Specialist
2011 Annual Five-Year Review Update Comment Letter CUF Claim #14821 .doc
