A groundwater <br /> monitoring well survey that complies with the GeoTracker guidelines is in <br /> j I progress. The groundwater monitoring report will be completed upon receipt of <br /> the survey data. <br /> California and the Federal Government have mandated that virtually all <br /> groundwater is beneficial for the current or future use unless it can be <br /> demonstrated that no beneficial use is known. <br /> _ This aquifer is considered to be of beneficial use and as a result, must be protected <br /> jfrom contamination. Those identified uses include agriculture and industrial, as <br /> well as potential use for animal or human consumption. <br /> 3.2 Receptors <br /> The following agencies were contacted in an effort to discover the locations of <br /> any receptors within two thousand (2,000) feet of the site: the City of Stockton <br /> Public Works and Utilities Department, San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, and the State of California Department of Water Resources . <br /> The State of California identified five (5) private wells located within a 2,000 ' <br /> radius of the subject site. The physical locations of these wells are presented <br /> r � <br /> below: <br /> 1 . Two wells are located A Street & E. Weber <br /> 2 . D Street & E. Fremont Street <br /> 3 . 2150 E . Fremont Street <br /> 4. 1943 E. Fremont Street <br /> The Water Well Drillers Reports provided by the State of California Department <br /> of Water Resources can be found in Appendix A. Figure 4 of this report shows <br /> the locations of the identified wells within a 2,000 ' radius of the subject property, <br /> The documents provided by the State listed two wells without physical locations. <br /> These documents can be found in Appendix B . WHF was unable to locate the <br /> -II physical addresses of these two wells. <br /> Research at the City of Stockton Public Works and City of Stockton Utilities <br /> Division indicated that those agencies do not have wells within a 2,000 ' radius of <br /> the subject property. <br /> On November 19, 2003 , a representative from WHF performed a physical site <br /> -- inspection of the property and the surrounding area to confirm the absence of <br />
