PROPOSED WORK PLAN <br /> 2150 E. FREMONT ST. , STOCKTON, CA 95205 <br /> WASTE OIL TANK <br /> SITE CODE 1109 <br /> PREVIOUS WORK AND REPORTS <br /> Several previous reports have been prepared for this site , <br /> the Waste Oil Tank, and two other tank removal sites at the <br /> same property address . These reports were prepared by Thorpe <br /> Oil , Inc . for the tank removals and by Wm. J. Hunter and <br /> Associates for the clean-up of two fuel tanks . All pertinent <br /> geology and hydrogeology aspects of the site were addressed <br /> in the WJH report . This report is appended in full for <br /> reference as Appendix No . 1 . The Thorpe Oil , Inc , tank <br /> removal proposal for the Waste Oil Tank and related <br /> documents are attached as Appendix No . 2 . <br /> BACKGROUND DATA RE: TOPOGRAPHY, SOILS AND HYDROGEOLOyY <br /> These data are discussed in Appendix No . 1 . Owing to the <br /> close proximity of the sites , all data given in Appendix No . <br /> 1 apply to the Waste Oil Tank Site . <br /> RECAP OF TANK REMOVAL <br /> A 500 gal . Waste Oil Tank. was removed from the site on June <br /> 13 , 1989 by JTO . The tank was found to be located in part <br /> beneath a standing building and its F.�undation . The tanh has <br /> excavated from the east end and pulled without re�,ovi.ng the <br /> building . The soil under the site was sampled for TEP-H, <br /> BTEX, CL HC . ICP-AES METALS , and PCB at the directic,, of <br /> the San Joaquin Local Health District . 'Significaat. <br /> quantities of metals were found in the soils beneat.'. tae <br /> tank; all other tests were ND at the levels tested . Datailecl <br /> data on all of the above are included in Appendix 2 . <br /> The excavation was filled with pea gravel and the :�urfaLe <br /> restored to use by JTO .
